I am a passionate musician and singer who truly loves all things music. I believe I am an enthusiastic and fun teacher who's main goal is to help my students grow and develop their singing voice and confidence. Over the years of training and perfecting my own abilities, I am now very excited to be able to share the skills and knowledge I have learnt with my students.

Based on my many years of real world experience performing as a musician, singer and an actor I feel confident in my ability to teach and work with students from all walks of life. No matter whether you have never sang before, or if you have been singing for years and just want to get to that next step, the lessons I provide are catered and suitable for any student. I take pride in offering thorough and detailed lessons to help you protect and improve your singing voice.

My Lessons

All Styles Available

Over the years, I have studied and developed vocal techniques which cover a huge range of styles and genres. I am very comfortable singing and performing in just about any style you can think of. This ranges from Pop, Indie/Rock, Jazz etc all the way through to musical theatre.

The techniques and styles used in musical theatre vary quite a lot from standard pop singing techniques. My aim Is to help you improve as a technical singer as well as offerIng an insight in to music theory and other aspects to help you grow as an all round musician.

Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.

My Experience as a Teacher

I was the lead vocalist in an Indie/Rock band called 'Dupe'. We were fortunate enough to receive a record deal which led to many performances and tours in and around the UK. Performing music is my true passion and I hope to provide you with the tools and skills you need to be able to do this too!

Following the success of my band, I then went on to study and train in musical theatre at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. I have been fortunate enough to sing and perform in a number of touring West End productions including Blood Brothers, The Buddy Holly Story and Rock Legends.

I have also performed and toured around the world as a concert singer with The Wellington Symphonia, Cape Town Philharmonic and The Hawaii Symphony Orchestra.

More About My Lessons

I am a very experienced and patient teacher who is more than happy for the lessons to go in whichever direction the student wants to take them. I appreciate we all want and love different things about music and we are also all at different ability levels.

As such, I am happy to tailor the content of our lessons to help you improve on your specific weak areas and to get you singing your favourite songs that you have always wanted to learn.

I can also help you discover and explore a wide range of song material. I offer a strong focus on vocal anatomy, healthy singing and using the Estill Singing Method. I am also very experienced in teaching acting through song and how to use the sung narrative to enhance our song presentation through a deeper understanding of song lyrics.

How much do lessons cost?

My lessons are charged at £25 per half hour and £40 per hour for all students.

Where do the lessons take place?

I take most of my lessons from my home teaching space.

What ages do you teach?

I offer my tuition to students of all ages.

Do I have to attend lessons every week?

Weekly and fortnightly lessons are by far the best way to improve as a singer.

What happens if I have to cancel a lesson?

Student must give me at least 24 hours notice to cancel or amend a lesson otherwise they will owe the full lesson fee. No refunds on block bookings unless they cancel after the first lesson and then a 25% administration fee is deducted from the refund balance.

This is a great place to learn because my students can really feel comfortable whilst learning to sing as well as being in a relaxed environment.
