About

Hello! I am Natahlie G. Agua, 38 years old from the Philippines. I am a mother of 2 boys ages 4 and 2 years old. As the world may know it that Filipinos are indeed music lovers and I’m one of them. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Music major in Music Education in 2009 in Sta. Isabel College, Manila Philippines. After College, I immediately apply as music teacher in one of the Catholic school in Bohol, Philippines where I develop myself in mentoring students for music competitions especially in vocals.

After a year, I applied to a bigger school in Manila which is a prestigious Montessori School where I stayed happily for 9 long years. My career as a music teacher was really sharpened as I handled primary and intermediate students. During my Motessori years as a Music teacher, I experienced handling choir and prepared them for any performances outside. I also mentor students for choir competitions and Hotels and Mall shows as well. Choir mentoring is my expertise since one of my specialization in college is conducting Major.

Learning music is so much fun and I believe that music is for everyone. I love teaching music especially to kids. I can teach basic piano, basic note reading and as well as music theory like how to construct chords and create a harmony. I also teach ukelele, guitar and recorder. I can also teach voice lesson to kids. I have faith in my own teaching pedagogy in music as I see it very effective in teaching children about music and making them love music more and more. I do private lessons at home, too. My private music lessons includes piano and voice lessons catering all ages.

Teaching music is my passion. I always have that sense of fulfilment every time I teach music and have my own ways on how to let my students learn music. i can help students develop ear training in music which is a very important skill in learning music. My patience in teaching music helped me a lot to carry on my passion of teaching. I believe the music is not just a talent but a skill that can be acquired, too, with the help of an understanding and patient mentor. I see there are lots of people who lack talent in music yet having great enthusiasm and great interested in learning music.. I want to help them discover their talent and help them believe that they are never wrong in their passion of loving to learn music even if other people would think they lack skill in music. I want to help people who love music to be in their best of their abilities. Music is for everyone!
