About

About

My name is Maisie and I am a recent music graduate from Cardiff University. I am a new teacher, teaching piano and music theory, although I have several years of experience teaching family members. I teach the ABRSM syllabus, piano grades 1-8 for students wanting to take exams, or music from outside the exam syllabus according to the musical preferences of the student. I also teach ABRSM grades 1-5 music theory. I am open to teaching students ages 6 and above. I am passionate about teaching music in an enjoyable way to push students to their full potential whether music is a leisure activity for the student or a growing building of a future career.

I have an ABRSM grade 8 piano certificate and an ABRSM grade 7 music theory certificate, although my bachelor’s degree pushed beyond these standards.

I regularly play the piano, sing, and lead bands in Sunday services at my local church, which involves arranging and composing music.
