About Me

Hello! I have three university degrees in music. My field is voice. I have sung opera, oratorio, concert repertoire and Gilbert and Sullivan, and am continuing to build a performing and teaching career. I have always enjoyed teaching. When I was in college I was a teaching assistant in voice, and since graduation, I have taught on two college faculties, as well as privately.

I have taught for 35 years, and teach all levels. I teach students as young as 11 and have taught 94 years olds.

I teach classical technique, such as correct breathing, open throat and placement of the tone. My goal is to help the student learn to sing in a way that is natural and healthy, and that will keep the voice functioning in good health for a lifetime.
